    I had a text recently from my mobile phone company saying, “by the way the monthly cost you agreed to is randomly increasing by around £4”. Okay, that wasn’t the exact language they used - but that was the gist. Obviously things get more expensive over time, but surely when you agree to a certain monthly rate for twenty-four months then that’s what it should stay as? That’s how we roll at Recruitly anyway. We will have a rate increase soon – one that will be more in line with what we offer. A CRM for Recruiters that’s got the best features, the best integrations and the best usability on the market. ...and one that’s currently an absolute bargain by the way. However, if you sign up now, we’ll fix your monthly rate regardless of future price increases – and we won’t even ask you to commit to twenty-four months, or twelve-months, or six-months, or even any months at all. All our lucky recruiters are on monthly rolling contracts. So, you can leave when you want. But if you stay, then your “far too low current rate” will be fixed for you for at least the next couple of years.     How often have you found a job that you’d like to apply for on LinkedIn, but have then been totally put off when you’ve noticed that loads of candidates have already applied? “It’s already had over a hundred applications! What’s the point?!” Has it though? In fact, there’s usually a huge difference between how many candidates have clicked Apply Now – and how many candidates have actually completed the process. Most job-advertisers, whether that’s a direct employer or a recruitment agency, will tell you there’s often a significant discrepancy with the figures displayed and the real number of applicants, and there are so many factors that can have an effect. Clunky careers sites, ATS redirections, requests for extensive documentation and many other application barriers can cause a huge drop-off. ….and that’s before we even get to the suitability of those candidates that did go on to complete their application! Of course, it’s extremely unlikely that every candidate will be suitable for interview. So, next time you see sky-high applicant numbers, don't let them stop you applying.
