Our second #tiptuesday in our #energyefficiency series is to look for draughts blowing in from the skirtings, indicating gaps between the floor and walls. These can be sealed by using quarter-round timber moulding (more environmentally friendly) or expanding sealants. Special sealing tape can also be used but needs to be covered with decorative moulding.
