This latest addition to the Camo family makes the premier spatial VR experience sharable, with camera support, scene-building capabilities, 4K recording and one-pinch streaming to your favourite platform. With Camo’s multi-source capabilities, Vision Pro users can now capture both their Persona and in-headset view, or even mix the physical and virtual by pairing with a phone or iPad running the companion Camo app. It’s immersion from every angle, all customisable with Camo’s powerful background and framing features. 🔥Here comes the heat.🔥 Today we’re releasing Camo Studio for iPad 1.2, bringing new features and improvements to the app that makes a video powerhouse out of the iPad. It packs in such hotly-requested capabilities as mobile device support and enhanced screen capture, while also adding new layer controls, dynamic scene thumbnails and more. With 1.2, multi-camera setups with Camo are even more flexible - streamers and creators can now connect wirelessly to one or even two iOS or Android devices running Camo to capture amazing video from any angle. It also makes on-iPad content creation smoother and available on more devices, with an improved flow and screen capture support for pre-M1 iPads. Camo was at Computex last week, and we had quite the ride. Everybody loves a good computing expo, but this being the Year of the AI PC (sorry, dragons), we were especially excited to get up close and personal with the newest innovations coming down the hardware and software product pipelines. The new fleet of Copilot+ computers was unveiled at last month’s MS Build, but it was in Taipei that people got the chance to really put the new tech through its paces. At the AMD booth, visitors could experience exactly what the new NPU-powered architecture means for Camo, with a Ryzen AI 3000 series chip breezily powering its simultaneous, real-time background effects, auto-framing and image enhancements on the latest hardware. Elsewhere, Camo chip partners and the big names in hardware were showing off their latest and greatest, and Eden demoed the entire AI buffet, from NVIDIA’s ChatRTX and ACE to Intel’s AI Playground. We think we owe her a new step counter to replace the one that’s being treated for exhaustion. In the end, after talking with partners and testing out the tech, the takeaway from Computex 2024 was clear: there’s certainly a lot of hype surrounding AI, but there’s also a steady stream of substance rising out of the noise, with some amazing new tools for everyday users, professionals and creatives. It all has us more excited than ever to be building thoughtful applications on this tech frontier, beginning with Camo Studio for Windows on Arm. And we're not stopping there; buckle up, friends - we’ve got some amazing things coming down the Camo pipeline, both in 2024 and beyond.

And that's a wrap for #MSBuild! For the second year running, Camo found its way into the keynote, as well as multiple sessions throughout the event. It’s always great to be part of the greatest show in the (Microsoft developer) world, but this time around was a special one. The main story at the show was all about Windows on Arm, heralded at a pre-show event by the unveiling of the next generation of hardware: the Copilot+ PC. Powered by the incredible Snapdragon X Elite processor, these computers represent a huge leap forward for any app that can natively take advantage of its powerful NPU/AI capabilities. …which is exactly what we’ve built Camo to do. The app popped up again and again at MS Build for good reason - we’re proud to be among the first developers to create an entirely native app experience for Windows on Arm, delivering an unparalleled UX while pioneering new, thoughtful applications for AI along the way. In Seattle, we shared much of what we learned from this process with the developer community, while also showing our work. In breakout sessions, Aidan joined other developers on the big screen to describe the tools and frameworks we’ve chosen from Microsoft’s platform to position Camo on the cutting edge of developing apps for the rapidly advancing Windows ecosystem. Looking ahead, it’s going to be an exciting summer. As our users begin to move to the new Copilot+ AI hardware, Camo will be there to help them take full advantage of the incredible capabilities of the Snapdragon X Elite’s NPU.
