🎃 Green your Halloween with reusable decorations! 🎃 This Halloween, let’s keep the spirit sustainable! 🧡 With so much single-use plastic flooding seasonal decorations, going reusable is a spook-tacular way to celebrate and reduce waste. Here are some easy ways to start: ♻️ Opt for reusable décor – invest in decorations you can bring out year after year. Look for fabric banners, wooden signs, and glass lanterns that can be updated each season. 🎨 DIY magic – get creative! Use old jars, paper bags, and fabric scraps to craft unique, eco-friendly decorations. You’ll be amazed at what a little DIY can do! 🍂 Nature’s Halloween – decorate with natural elements like pumpkins, leaves, and pinecones. Compost them after the holiday or turn pumpkins into tasty recipes! Together, we can make Halloween greener and create a frightfully fun tradition that doesn’t spook the planet! 👻🧡 #SustainableHalloween #Reusables #ResetConnect

Following the success of our 'SRI Services and Partners annual Good Money Week event 2024' - a lovely souvenir scribe, and lots of thank you's, in particular to Reset Connect! (Event videos to follow.)
I am delighted to share the lovely Scriberia graphic from our annual SRI Services and Partners Good Money Week event, which took place last Thursday. The day was a big success (I am still recovering!), and we would like to thank the many people and companies that helped make it happen, notably Su & 'the home team', Reset Connect and all the (c250) delegates who joined us on the day! During the day we enjoyed hearing from expert and keynote speakers Sacha Sadan , James Alexander , Mike Clark and Mark Campanale discussing regulatory developments, Good Money Week client research, climate risk and the immense shifts we are moving towards in energy markets. Our fund manager partners discussed a range of sustainable investment related topics, sharing their view on and experiences of the #SDR fund labeling regime, areas that sit beyond the new labels, and how to articulate sustainability with confidence. Six fund managers also shared deep dives into examples of 'leading change' aiding and enabling the shift towards a more sustainable future. Our partner firms and superb speakers at this event were: Aegon UK Miranda Beacham, RBC BlueBay Asset Management BNY Quilter Cheviot Caroline Langley Rathbones Group Plc David Harrison, CFA WHEB Seb Beloe Stewart Investors Clare Wood Triodos Investment Management Adam Robbins CCLA Investment Management Clémence Chatelin Fidelity Adviser Solutions Matthew Jennings David Nicholsby Schroders Stephanie Williams M&G Investments Ben Constable Maxwell Liontrust Asset Management PLC Unicorn Asset Management Columbia Threadneedle Investments EMEA APAC T. 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 $𝟭𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗼, 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝘁'𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗻𝗼𝘄… While many investors have their eyes on tech giants or trending consumer stocks, the water industry offers a compelling case for those willing to take a more long-term view. Why water? Water is one of the planet's most essential resources, and as populations grow, so do the demands on global water infrastructure. Investments in water companies not only offer growth potential but also provide a degree of stability, as water is indispensable to society. With increasing stress on water resources due to climate variations, urbanization, and aging infrastructure, the demand for innovation and expansion in water systems continues to rise. Let’s explore the potential of this sector, using American Water Works as a benchmark for performance. American Water Works: A key player American Water Works, founded in 1886, has grown into the largest publicly traded U.S. water and wastewater utility company. It provides essential water services to more than 14 million customers across 24 states. The company’s expansion strategy involves acquiring smaller water service providers and increasing its customer base and market share. With nearly 90% of its shares owned by institutional investors, American Water Works has proven to be a solid investment over the long term. Investment performance If you had invested $1,000 in American Water Works a decade ago, by September 16, 2024, your investment would be worth approximately $3,014, representing a 201% gain. This outpaced broader market indicators like the S&P 500, which grew 183% in the same period, and gold, which rose by 100%. American Water Works plans to invest between $34 and $38 billion from 2024 to 2033 to expand and upgrade its water systems, reinforcing its position as a leader in the industry. Future outlook Analysts project that the water industry will continue to grow, driven by increasing demand, regulatory requirements, and aging infrastructure that needs replacement. In addition to growth for companies in the U.S., investors might also look to Europe, where companies such as Dutch Clean Tech are making significant strides in sustainable water management. This represents exciting opportunities for investors seeking to diversify into global markets while addressing critical environmental needs. #WaterIndustry #SustainableInvesting #CleanWaterSolutions #WaterInnovation #InvestInWater #DutchCleanTech
