    Most businesses approach platform selection the wrong way. It's human nature to focus on features rather than business needs. Those cool features sound like they would solve all your problems. I see this all the time with clients, and right now, I’m making sure I don’t fall into the same trap. I’m reviewing project management tools, but instead of ticking feature boxes, I’m asking: Is it the tool I need to change, or is it a team process that needs to change? 🔍 Instead of “Does this tool have X feature?” I’m looking at “How does this tool solve my problem?” Here’s the approach I’m using: ✅ Define the real business challenges first. ✅ Let vendors show how they’d solve them—beyond a simple yes/no. ✅ Choose a solution that actually works for my team, not just one with the longest feature list. Too many companies spend money on software that looks good in an RFP but doesn’t actually fit their business. If you’re selecting a new platform this year, this approach might save you time, money, and headaches.     A day and night at Spring Fair & Autumn Fair 2025!! There are so many exhibitors acrosss so many halls I got my 10,000 steps in with ease. Bumped into some industry colleagues like Theo Burns Alex Weston Andrew Thomson Got to spend the day with Henry Carroll also!! It was hard not to open an account of my own with many of the amazing manufacturers and wholesalers just to buy some cool products. But…if I was thinking of starting a business and selling online I would definitely come to this show for inspiration. #b2becommerce #networking
