We are delighted to announce that Professor Moe Thaw Oo has been appointed as our new Director of Medical Examinations. Professor Oo is a practicing consultant physician and geriatrician at Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals. Alongside this, he demonstrates passion and dedication to improving medical education, having held many clinical examination and academic roles throughout his career. On taking up this new role, he said: “I am humbled and honoured to take on this clinical leadership role in the College…I am committed to investing all my efforts in our MRCP Clinical Examinations and other medical assessment work. We are a truly inclusive and forward-thinking physician assessment panel. I invite all physician colleagues from diverse backgrounds to join us and contribute to the progress of future generations of through assessment.
