This morning, we had a constructive meeting with First Minister John Swinney at Bute House to discuss how the RSE is 'making knowledge useful' to address key societal challenges and deliver a brighter future for Scotland. The meeting was led by President Sir John Ball PRSE, with General Secretary, Professor Michael Keating FRSE, Dr Janet Brown FRSE (Education Convenor), Professor Sarah Skerratt (Chief Executive), and Fraser Gillan (Public Affairs Officer) in attendance. Thank you to the First Minister and his team for engaging positively with the RSE's work. We look forward to continuing to support The Scottish Government's work with independent, evidence-based policy advice.
