Head - Campbell College, Belfast (start date - September 2025) RSAcademics are delighted to be helping Campbell College with the appointment of a new Head. Campbell College is an HMC day and boarding school for around 1200 boys aged 3-18, which, throughout its rich history, has been committed to raising expectations, fostering enthusiasm and inspiring a love of learning. Campbell College boys leave the School believing that they can make a real and lasting difference in society and with skills and experiences that are going to matter to them for the rest of their lives. The new Head will relish the prospect of living and working in a stimulating and purposeful environment; one that encourages each individual to make the very best of the opportunities presented by the School, the vibrant city of Belfast and the wider surrounding Northern Ireland region. We anticipate that with our heritage and history, our strong current profile and our attractive setting within a 100-acre woodland campus on the outskirts of Belfast, this post will be very attractive to current or aspiring Heads in Northern Ireland and beyond. We are looking for a new Head who is personable, ambitious and resilient; someone who would relish the mutual benefit of being fully engaged with the Governors in working to ensure the College’s future prosperity and sustainability. If this is a post that excites you and you feel you have the requisite skills and experience, we would be delighted to hear from you. Interested candidates are invited to contact Helen Flower or Charlotte Faber of RSAcademics to arrange a confidential discussion. #Belfastjobs #CampbellCollege #schoolleadershipjobs #schoolleadership #independentschools #independentschool #RSAcademics #ukindependentschools #educationjobs #jobopportunity #directorjobs #principaljobs #headteacherjobs #executivehead #Head #Headship #educationleadership

Founding Principals – VIBGYOR World Academy, Nagpur and Bhopal Two fascinating headship opportunities to be at the heart of the expansion of international schools in India – but within one of India’s leading K-12 school groups. VIBGYOR Group of Schools is seeking Founding Principals for its first World Academy schools in Nagpur and Bhopal. VIBGYOR was established 20 years ago and is highly-regarded for its innovative and forward-thinking approaches to curriculum and pedagogy. The VIBGYOR World Academy schools will be an important strategic development for the group. These first two schools will open in 2025-26, initially with K-grade 5 and anticipated initial intakes of 230 that will build towards a capacity in each school of 1,200-1,500. Both schools will operate Cambridge curricula, underpinned by VIBGYOR’s own distinctive curriculum that draws on liberal arts traditions and sets out to prepare students for life. With the demand for international schools expected to grow dramatically in India, and numerous new schools being planned to meet this demand, the VIBGYOR World Academy offers something different: the chance to develop these new international schools within a well-established and well-resourced group, known for its quality and for innovation. For candidates, this offers the excitement of being part of the development of a new market but within a more secure context. The deadline for the receipt of applications is Wednesday 30 October 2024 at 10:00 (UK) / 15:30 (India) For a preliminary, confidential conversation about the roles please contact Jean Sullivan. #RSAcademics #VIBGYORGroupofSchools #JeanSullivan #InternationalEducation #India #schoolleadershipjobs #schoolleadership #educationjobs #foundinghead #foundingprincipal #headship #educationleadership

"It cannot be denied that equity, diversity and inclusion require a different way of thinking internationally, including when the construct and composition of schools vary so much. Many more international schools now seem to have inclusion as a central part of their identity. In the first instance, that may well be a commitment to ‘all abilities’, with the structures and culture needed to support that commitment. Schools are by their very nature exclusionary, whether because of fees or curriculum or language requirements or the section of society they seek to serve, and this increasingly common commitment to inclusion is significant. This all may suggest that to develop EDI thinking internationally requires a more complex and nuanced narrative. A single way of thinking will not suit a sector that is so broad and diverse in its scope and hosted in such disparate cultural settings." You can read our full blog post on this topic, written by Keith Clark, Head of International Appointments at RSAcademics and Johan Jensen, Director of All-in Education, on our website: https://lnkd.in/em5MNE4g All-in Education offer a range of services to schools, with tailored approaches for international schools that can apply regardless of the cultural context in which they operate. Their services support schools in creating a stronger sense of belonging and becoming more inclusive communities, including recruitment and curriculum audits, training, EDI strategy development and more bespoke consultancy support.
