About us

The RSPCA Suffolk Central Branch has been providing help to animals in need in our local community for over 90 years. Our services include rehoming & rehabilitation at our Martlesham Animal Centre and providing low-cost veterinary care for low income families, pop-up pet food banks, subsidised neutering, microchipping and support & advice. We are a separately registered charity from the national RSPCA and in 2023, 95% of our income came from our own fundraising efforts, including events and our shops, donations from members of the public and legacies and we need to raise nearly £1 million a year to continue to supply our vital animal welfare services across Suffolk. We also have our own Veterinary Welfare Clinic in Ipswich and shops located in Stowmarket, Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and Felixstowe.
