Another project completed for E G Carter on their Blackbridge Community Hub build. This time we supplied and installed Mapei one coat dpm, primer and latex. Floor coverings supplied and installed included Forbo Flooring Systems Coral Brush entrance matting, Milliken & Company Facet Accesnts carpet tiles, Altro Limited Ensemble LVT, Altro Pieces safety vinyl, Altro wood safety vinyl, Gerflor Tataflex Evolution Sport M flooring. Nosings for the stairs were from Gradus Limited We also supplied and installed Altro Limited Whiterock hygienic wall cladding in Satins Promenade welded and Urban Mineral again with welded joints.

Our recent project for Speller Metcalfe at The Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester has now been completed and successfully handed back to the client. In this last phase, following significant sub-floor preparation works where we were supported by Bostik, we have installed over 1100 sq. m of Altro Limited vinyls. The majority of which were Xpresslay & Altro Wood adhesive-free. It was a really great project to be a part of and we are thankful to all our install teams and suppliers for their efforts. When a client need their stairs refurbished but the concrete steps are in a bad way, a professional flooring installer knows what’s needed. Another week, another project started. Working for RED Construction Group on their Chocolate Quarter in Keynsham near Bristol project. Started on site heavy sanding / light STR to remove film from the Cemflor screed. We will be supplying and installing Cormar Carpet Company , Amtico lvt, TradeChoice Carpet & Flooring lvt, Genesis Global Systems Limited nosings and trims.

Why is it small builders can protect floors when plastering yet main contractors don’t see a problem with contaminating screeds? It’s a fight with main contractors who tell us they will scrape the excess off but it’s down to the flooring contractors to sand the floors ready for floor coverings… Dpm, latex and adhesives do not stick to plaster contaminant.
