Some very exciting news for Russell Simpson and Auriens Group. Read Bertie's post for more information, and keep your eyes peeled for lots of Auriens content, coming soon!
It gives me great pleasure to share with you the news that Auriens Group have appointed Russell Simpson as their introductory partner. Auriens is developing as a central part of the Chelsea community and so it is with great pride that we are RS are now formally part of this exciting group of people, services and property. It has been a fascinating experience meeting with and learning from Henry Lumby, COO at Auriens. Henry and his extraordinary team provide a wealth of experience and care which the residents of Auriens are benefitting from on a daily basis. With Alan Russell and Russell Simpson having been part of the Chelsea community for the last 50 years we have been fortunate to have worked with many members of the community at key moments throughout their lives, helping them move to their next home. Having learnt more about the family home environment at Auriens I am very excited for Chelsea and the surrounding neighbourhoods to have such an appealing option for the latter stages of life. For anyone unsure what Auriens is or what services and properties it provides please reach out to me and either me or one of our team would be delighted to share more with you or invite you for a coffee at the building to experience it for yourself. Thank you PrimeResi Journal for sharing the news last week. For anyone interesting in reading more including please follow this link https://lnkd.in/eDNAc9Xr

Interior designer Emma Stevenson moved to Denbigh Terrace in the early months of the pandemic. The house she bought had not been renovated in 60 years, meaning the downstairs loo was still outside. But, over the next nineteen months, she transformed the property into a beautiful family home that was the perfect expression of her personal style. We spoke to Emma about the inspirations behind the renovation, how she adapted the house to suit family life, and why it is time to move on. Spring is typically the busiest time of the year in the sales market. After the half-term lull, we traditionally enter several months of vigorous activity. With longer days and improving weather, our agents see more ambition and determination from buyers. And we are confident this will be true for the season ahead. Nonetheless, in the first months of the year, many buyers showed caution. The wider political and economic landscape made some of them hesitant, while the changes to non-dom status coming into effect this April caused reluctance among others. Consequently, we have seen higher levels of price sensitivity in the market in 2025. Nonetheless, as conditions improve over the coming months, the determination among buyers is sure to increase. The first months of the year were active, with an increase in demand for long-lets. Numerous renters were looking to secure a property for a year or more, with particular interest in larger flats and houses. This was partly caused by a large number of young families coming to London for corporate relocations – a market which remains active into the spring. Therefore, we would encourage landlords to take advantage of the high levels of demand. At the same time, the Easter break falls in April this year. This is typically a popular period for short-lets, with individuals and families visiting London for the holiday. Because Easter falls later this year, there is still plenty of time to capitalise on this market, but anyone interested in short-term rental options for spring should begin preparations now.
