We are absolutely thrilled to launch Red Zero, a refreshing non-alcoholic version of our award-winning Devon Red, with only 0.5% alcohol. We've wanted to create an alcohol-free cider for some time but we like to do things properly, so rather than a dressed up soft drink it's made using real cider with the alcohol filter extracted at 2 degrees. It may be the most expensive way to make it, but for quality, it’s on another level. And so is the feedback we've been receiving: 'It's incredible. I have never known an alcohol free cider to taste like the real deal.' 'Just thank you. The Red Zero is a phenomenal alcohol free cider. You can tell a tonne of care and dedication has gone into the process. Fantastic.' 'Excellent. Low alcohol versions of drinks are often disappointing. Definitely not so with Red Zero.' 'The first alcohol free cider that tastes like cider! ' https://lnkd.in/eRg9iSry

Cider Done Right - from the heart of the Westcountry. Probably the fastest growing cider brand in the UK.
About us
It is in the South West of England that the cider apples grow. These apples give us the ingredients to make the best ciders in the world. Sandford Orchards has helped redefine the cider category - and remains one of the few cider companies in the UK in strong growth. We are driven by faith and trust. Faith in the old, the orchards, the soil and the incredible apples they produce - and trust in the new, the technologies and techniques that give us clean bright consistent ciders fit for the modern market. In three words? Cider done right. Our most devoted region is the South West of England - standards for cider here are the highest in the world, and if you can sell your cider here, then you’re doing something right. Increasing sales across the UK, in national retail both on and off-trade and a growing export portfolio mean that growth remains healthy in all available markets. Not all ciders are equal, and many outlets are missing out on profit and sales because the consumer is tired of thin and uninspiring products. Give them accessible bright fruit with satisfying depth, approachable and interesting. If your cider sales need a lift, or you feel that you’d like to try something new - then talk to us. We make cider, done right.

‘Wow!’ ‘Whoa!’ The reactions of Simon Rimmer and Tim Lovejoy when tasting our Katja Rosé on Channel 4's Sunday Brunch last weekend. You can’t ask for a much better response than that! Thank you so much to Gabe Cook, aka The Ciderologist for choosing to showcase our cider on C4 once again. https://lnkd.in/dgawa7bv

Two bronze. Two silver. Three gold. Reserve Champion and Supreme Champion in the Devon County Show Cider Awards! We're feeling quite giddy to say the least! What makes this even more special is that all of our winning ciders have been made with unknown apple varieties that we have discovered whilst working with the University of Bristol, using cutting-edge DNA fingerprinting techniques to uncover and preserve lost cider apple cultivars. The ciders won every medal in every class, other than sweet - in which only one of the rare apple ciders was entered, it won Supreme Champion! These medals truly are the fruits of our labour and bode well for our quest to find the very best apples to make the most delicious cider. Here's Barny and his sons proudly receiving the cup from Michael Caines today.

Fantastic to see that the news of Barny's work with the University of Bristol to discover and preserve lost apple varieties has travelled across the pond. Find out more in his recent interview with Sam Knight from The New Yorker.

We talk about Cider Done Right a lot but it’s hard to explain what that really means in just a few words. That’s why we enlisted the help of award-winning story telling experts UNTOLD AGENCY to help us turn our story into a film. Filming mostly took place during last autumn's harvest, so the weather didn't always play ball but we're really proud of the end result and we're delighted to share it with you during British Cider Week. So if you want to find out more about what makes our cider so special then, sit back, relax and enjoy! https://lnkd.in/ec-rmdai
