This week, we extend a warm welcome to our new Deputy Principal, Curriculum and Skills, Asa Gordon. He joins Lisa Capper MBE, the new CEO and Principal, who also took up her post this week. With a wealth of experience in academic leadership, Asa joins us with a strong vision for developing the skills pipeline that serves young people, adults, and apprentices across Sandwell and the West Midlands. With his vast experience in academic leadership, Asa is set to drive forward our mission of empowering learners at every stage. His focus on high-quality curriculum and skills will help ensure our students are well-prepared for their chosen careers and equipped to make a meaningful impact in today’s evolving job market. 🌟 Another finalist! 🌟 Huge congratulations to Kyle Price, who’s been shortlisted in the Positive Role Model category at the FIYA Awards 2024, hosted by Sandwell Children's Trust! Ahead of tonight's awards, Kyle shared: “I’m incredibly proud to be nominated in the Positive Role Model category, as I always strive to set a good example.” Kyle is joined by Connor Wassall, Sandwell College’s Welfare Officer, who nominated him for the award.
