Happy International Women's Day! This years theme is 'Accelerate Action,' which serves as a call to recognise the strategies, resources, and efforts that promote women's advancement, while also encouraging their implementation and support. Sargent-Disc's focus, this year, is on Period Poverty. In 2019, the short film 'Period. End of Sentence', that follows women in a rural village in India challenging the stigma around menstruation, won the Oscar for Best Documentary.
