Charlie Wood, partner in our employment team, continues to volunteer his time to help students from the University of Chester Law School as part of their Chester Community Law Project. Most recently he attended SPACE Cheshire to assist the students with a presentation aimed at parents who utilise the charity. They discussed key areas of law that may impact the parents including flexible working requests, and holiday and leave rights. The feedback received was very positive and attendees found it useful. Successful co-parenting helps children have a stable upbringing, learn life skills such as flexibility, adaptability and resilience, and feel that both of their parents are equally involved, respected and present in their lives.
