This is a generation raised on curated content and the pursuit of the ‘photogenic lifestyle’, so spaces with opportunities for personalisation and immersive experiences will win the competition for the best talent. 🟨 Flexibility in a multi-generation workplace: While advancements in technology are set to revolutionise workplace experience and boost performance, not everyone adapts to change in the same way. As one panellist put it, “not everyone wants to do a retina scan to pay for a coffee”. More than 60 attendees from occupier clients across Central London gathered at Margaret Street this week to hear the latest themes in the property market affecting their businesses. The event kicked off with an interactive survey to understand the issues that were most impacting those in the room, setting the context for the research that followed. Guests then heard from Mat Oakley on the trends for commercial property and from Lucian Cook on the residential market. ✅ Ziraat Bank HQ Working alongside architects KPF, Savills Workplace & Design complete new HQ for Ziraat Bank in Istanbul, Turkey. The design takes influence from the heritage of the Ottoman Empire, with the team creating a coherent, bespoke interior for the building using local materials and design cues. These were used throughout the executive floors, the 1,000-seat restaurant, along with workplace guidelines for 40 floors and the design of a 100,000 sq ft IT division space.
