The Wooden Spoon Charity Sensory Space is set to be unveiled at Scottish Gas Murrayfield tomorrow. It means that there’s now a dedicated area for those visiting, for matches or concerts, who may feel over-whelmed by the passionate atmosphere at Scotland’s biggest stadium. It will be officially opened by Scottish Rugby patron, HRH The Princess Royal ahead of tomorrows Men's Guinness Six Nations Championship match between Scotland and Italy. Read more about the space:

Scottish Rugby has today received an independent evaluation of its overall economic value to Scotland. The valuation of £120.4million covers the period from June – December 2024 and incorporates home matches for the national men’s and women’s teams; Edinburgh Rugby and Glasgow Warriors home fixtures; and the concerts and events hosted at Scottish Gas Murrayfield The media impact alone (inc in the total figure) was calculated at £13.2million, of which the Taylor Swift concerts generated £8.3million of media coverage alone.
