In our final segment of presentations, we welcomed Neal Romanek of The Flint who delivered a fascinating talk on the role #media and #communication plays in #sustainability, including a look at the #myths we tell ourselves and how that blocks progress.... ...followed by a brilliant presentation from Dom Robinson of Greening of Streaming whose efforts to #lobby government and work collectively with its members to reduce #emissions dovetails well with The Flint, and then the final integral piece came from.... Anthony Daly I PIEMA I REnvP I of ClimateEQ, whose focus on #climate literacy aims to bust those myths, educate the industry and arm decision-makers with the language and tools they need to make meaningful net zero progress. All of these then developed into one of the best panel discussions we've seen at the SCTE - have a look at what you missed! In our next instalment of the Autumn Lecture, for those of you who'd like a recap or who missed it - here's Jason Kelly of Rincon Technology, Inc discussing how, with his business partner Michael Bartling he's created an entire business out of a shared passion for #upcycling and #sustainability. Nice line in Jack Johnson tunes too and a great presentation. Closely followed by something new - an open discussion with the audience about the potential for #fibreoptic cable #recycling, which opened up a fascinating cross section of views on the pressure points and sustainability challenges experienced industry-wide, with some great ideas emerging about how to best tackle them.
