It's been just over two weeks since Selwood's charity ride in support of the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, and we are truly amazed by the incredible generosity shown by everyone involved. We raised an astounding £3,476.55, which will significantly contribute to the life-saving work of DSAA. Special thanks to: 💚 Henstridge Airfield for providing a safe meeting spot and generously supplying complimentary bacon rolls to all participants. 💚 The Beehive Portland for hosting our riders at the finish line. 💚 Portland Paella for serving fabulous food in the evening. 💚 Biker Pics for capturing so many incredible photos of our riders. 💚 And, of course, a huge thank you to everyone who donated! Today we’re pleased to welcome colleagues from Holland Pump Company, the market-leading US pump rental specialist, into our group. The acquisition by Selwood’s parent group Workdry International Ltd, backed by Arcus Infrastructure Partners LLP as the majority shareholder, will see the group immediately establish a market-leading presence in the East and Gulf coastal states of the US. Thomas Vossman, CEO at Holland Pump, will continue to lead the US business, working closely alongside Workdry’s leadership team. This is an exciting step forward as Workdry continues to invest in international growth and in its teams across the Selwood, Siltbuster Ltd, Vanderkamp and now Holland Pump brands. Emergency overpumping by the sea! 🌊 When the outfall of a rising main from a pumping station was deemed unserviceable, Selwood was tasked with providing an overpumping solution capable of handling flows up to 2,300Lp/s.
