Great to hear our very own Andrew Peterson sharing the mic with Leah Martin and Lewis Alun Jones on Generation Space's latest pod, and breaking down: - Why the world needs high-resolution 3D satellite data - How Array's imaging clusters work (hint: multiple birds x multiple angles) - The journey from technical concept to commercial reality ...along with an accidental product launch, our (actual) engineering satellites' launch, 3D's market potential, and more. Grateful for Seraphim's early conviction in our vision and their continued partnership in building toward a more precisely mapped future. Give it a listen using the link below 🎧

Investment VP Lewis Alun Jones spotted in TechCrunch discussing the highs and lows of space investing 🛰 🚀 Much of the current investing is shadowed by the SPAC boom in 2021 and the subsequent bust, which saw many of those companies’ valuations dwindle to a fraction of their former value. Lewis Jones said that the SPAC phenomenon was ultimately healthy for the industry, however painful it was for investors at the time: “I think people recognise now that you can’t take space companies public prematurely,” he said. “The acquisitions that have been around the last few quarters haven’t necessarily been desirable outcomes, and we haven’t necessarily seen a pathway to a space company going public properly and winning out on that. So hopefully, that shake-up means people start thinking about it, and there’ll be some good opportunities in the future.” Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gBMyZMcX
