We are pleased to announce our involvement in the Riverside 2 Energy from Waste (EfW) facility. This state-of-the-art facility will be one of the largest and most efficient EfW plants in the UK, designed to process c.650,000 tonnes of non-recyclable waste annually. Severfield's scope includes the complete connection design of the structural frame and various cold-formed design products (CDP). The project will see the installation of 1,750 tonnes of hot-rolled steel and 7 tonnes of cold-rolled steel, along with 2,700 m² of metal decking, 362 m² of open grid flooring, 823 m of handrailing, and 9 cat ladders. #Energy #Power #Construction #SteelConstruction #StructuralSteel #Steelwork #Enginering

We play a vital role in delivering some of the most complex major infrastructure projects at the Sellafield Ltd site. Our scope of work primarily involved supplying and erecting approximately 408 tonnes of hot rolled steel for the main frame of the building.
