🎉 Women in Construction Week: Meet Chloe Mahoney! As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor at Lovell Partnerships Ltd, Chloe manages costs, works with subcontractors, and helps oversee the build process. She’s currently working on the St Mellons Community Living Project, consisting of 60 units of one and two bed self-contained apartments.   Her advice to women considering a role in the construction industry is: “There are so many jobs out there. You've got commercial, technical, sales, you've got operations, there's just so much opportunity. And as a woman, I think you've just got to go for it and avoid all the traditional stereotypes involved with the trades.”   What she loves most? Seeing projects come to life: "The visual side, so seeing a project from start to end and just understanding, well, we've actually spent two and a half years and we've built 106 units. I think it's a big achievement, and it’s amazing to see the impact we’re having on communities."   #WomenInConstruction #Inspiration #BreakingBarriers #WICWeek2025 #WICWeek

Local talent, big impact! 🚀 Hale Group Ltd is committed to supporting local apprenticeships 👷🏗️ 💬 “Apprenticeships are vital - not only to the future of Hale but to the future of our industry as well. “Sam's doing great. Right from the first day he arrived on site, you could tell straight away how keen he was. His attitude was great; his timekeeping is exemplary. And just keeping in contact - the one day he was late because of traffic, and he just rang me up and kept in contact. He's joined him with carpenters, and they think very highly of him. He really has become a valued member of the team.” – Steve Jones, Senior Project Manager Apprenticeships give young talent the chance to thrive in the construction industry.
