This looks like it will be a fascinating festival. Silverlake are main sponsors and have supplied over 100 salvage vehicles for the Extrication Challenge. The competing fire service teams will be cutting people out of the cars at the challenge site in Gun Wharf Quay, demonstrating the skill and speed needed to rescue motorists and their passengers from vehicles in road traffic accidents. There are also other challenges taking place including rope rescues and water rescues. It all takes place 26-28 September at Gunwharf Quays and the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth #ukro2024
