Meet your new Auscultation trainer…DxBAT 👋🏻 While standardised patients provide valuable insights, their physical exams only cover so much. The DxBAT provides simulated, clinical sounds that are synchronised in real-time to the SP's real respiratory and cardiac cycles. You can simulate the sounds that you wish the student to hear. For example; asthma along with several other scenarios. 🟡 No RF ID tags. 🟡 It doesn't interfere with any other clinical examination. 🟡 You can hear different sounds at the same time. Survival rates from out-of-hospital cardiac arrest remain stubbornly low in the UK, with fewer than 1 in 10 people surviving. Knowing the basics of CPR is essential; some courses can help teach you these. For Restart a Heart Day, we challenged the Sim & Skills team to see how their CPR skills were, with our Brayden CPR Manikin.
