Established in 2001, Skiddle.com has become one of the UK's market leading live event websites. The company first started selling tickets in 2006, having originally been a student what’s on guide that rapidly expanded to cover the whole of the UK and much of mainland Europe. Each month the website welcomes close to 2 million unique users, with well over five million page views. Glastonbury Festival has introduced changes to its ticket-buying process, starting with the upcoming sales to next year's event on Thursday 14th November. After signing up as per usual, prospective attendees will now head to a holding page a few minutes before sales open. According to a recent report published by events management platform, Togather, sales of Vegan food and non-alcoholic drinks are on the rise at UK festivals. After tracking data at over 100 major events attended by 10 million people, the company released its findings, highlighting a 28% surge in vegan food purchases and a 35% spike in sales of non-alcoholic beverages, among many other insights.
