On Wednesday this week, Skyports Drone Services, in partnership with Talher S.A., demonstrated our STELLAIRE Explorer Multi-Sensor Drone and AI-powered processing capabilities to Endesa, one of Spain’s largest power utilities. On Tuesday, our team flew the route, capturing LiDAR data for vegetation encroachment, thermal imaging for hotspot detection, and RGB inspection imagery—all in a single flight. Using Stellaire's AI, we processed the LiDAR data within 24 hours, enabling rapid risk assessment. 🔥 In Southern Europe, where climate change is having a particular impact on the environment and affecting power grids wildfires, this game-changing efficiency allows Talher to deploy teams within 48 hours to mitigate risks and keep the grid safe. Today, we take our first step in Saudi Arabia with a proof-of-concept drone delivery project in collaboration with iot squared, a joint venture between the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and stc. Leveraging Skyports' expertise in inter-island cargo delivery and maritime drone operations, the partnership will explore how BVLOS drone services can be integrated into Saudi Arabia's giga-projects. The initiative aims to set the foundation for the widespread adoption of fast, on demand, highly automated cargo deliveries. The project shown here, our Orkney Royal Mail deliveries, launched the in the same month I started at Skyports. Since then, I've worked on the growth and expansion of the project, so I feel a kind of connection to it. This image also brings to mind the incredible community impact, as well as the many people across Orkney who have been essential to the project’s success and have really embraced the service. Every year we say it, and every year it's true: the next 12 months are going to be the biggest and best yet for Skyports Drone Services. 2025 will mark our 7th year of operations, and we have a lot in store, including launches in new markets, the expansion of existing operations, the onboarding of new aircraft, and the growth of our world-class team to bring the benefits of drone delivery and inspection services to more communities and businesses around the globe. We have a huge year ahead of us, and we're excited to share these milestones with our partners and supporters.
