Software Engineer at Skyscanner | Keynote Speaker | Founder of She Bytes Back - the empowering community for Gen Z and millennial women in tech
Say HELLO to the new face of Skyscanner 👀 ok maybe that isn't true, but I'm loving seeing these videos out in the world 🥳 We had an amazing day speaking about our time at Skyscanner and what encouraged us to join in the first place. I joined because I saw the work they were doing with Code First Girls which told me that they were serious about making a real impact to get more women into tech (we love a company that backs up their words with action 👀) As you all know, I love making a difference to empower more women in tech, and I'm so proud of the work we do here to make that possible 💜 Here are the top three things I'd advise for women in the industry: 1️⃣ Find your places where you're celebrated, not just tolerated 2️⃣ Advocate for yourself and the value add of the work you're doing 3️⃣ Get support through multiple mentors, sponsors, and your network What else would you add to the list? 👀 Shout out to the incredible team that put so much work behind the scenes to make all of this possible! #WeAreSkyscanner #WomenInTech

Our Slack channels are abuzz with this interactive Skyscanner-based game that our very own Owen Merry has created. So we thought we'd let you have a try as well. The goal is simple. Can you do a round-the-world trip starting and ending in London for less than £1,000? And if you fancy booking one of the flights you see in real life, you can do that too. Happy travelling! Try it here* - https://lnkd.in/eKkcM26h *Caveats of this is in beta and prices may change.
