    What do digital receipts and the Great British Bake Off have in common? Both need precision, the right ingredients, and a bit of creativity to achieve perfection! 🧁 Last week, we hosted our Summer Social, where Slip took on The Big London Bake for a fun (and butter-cream)-filled afternoon. 🍰 From whisking up new ideas to kneading out some friendly competition, we mixed work and play in the most delicious way. Who knew our software developers could also rise to the challenge in the kitchen?     Alongside our fundraising announcement (thank you for all your kind messages 💗), you may have noticed that Slip has a new look & feel. Earlier this year, we decided it was time for a brand refresh and instructed our awesome friends at Altiverse for the project. We updated our brand colours, website, social assets and sales & marketing collateral. The whole team are delighted with the results and I am personally delighted that it includes lots of green (which happens to be my favourite colour 💚). But design without words is pointless, which is why we worked closely with a true legend BJ Cunningham, who supported us in updating our master messaging, manifesto and brand promise.     https://lnkd.in/e-dfxunS Quite excited to be a big name appointment 😊 Can't wait to tell my mum 😁 There was lots of really nice news flow on the raise last week and whilst it is a real achievement in the current climate, the main thing is that we can now put that behind us and move onto the real work of scaling the business. For those that haven't come across Slip yet we have identified the humble receipt as one of the most under appreciated assets in the retail world. Digital receipts have been around for a while, but it feels like the industry has gone stale, with very little innovation and focus on the consumer (sounds a lot like the payments universe a decade or so ago!) Our mission is to transform the receipt from a passive transaction record into a dynamic instrument of engagement, insight, and business growth, all while elevating the experience for shoppers. Through integrating with existing retail systems Slip is developing a new marketing channel for retailers to engage, at a personal level, with their store shoppers. Exciting times ahead 🚀

    Drum roll please...! 🥁 I am totally delighted to announce Slip's £2.5M ($3.2M) Seed Round! This round, led by Adjuvo with participation from Haatch, The SidebySide Partnership, unbundled vc and all our amazing angels marks a huge milestone in the Slip journey 💛. Having launched the product last year and seeing great results so far, this capital allows us to accelerate our growth across the UK, and internationally over the next few years. I’m very aware that a fundraise shouldn’t be the definition of success for an early-stage company, but it is no easy market to raise capital in, especially as a female founder. Words can’t express how proud I am of the Slip team, what we have achieved so far, and what is yet to come 🚀 So for those who don’t know, what is Slip? Well, to start with, we Love Receipts.
