SEPTEMBER SNAP SHOT! Wow, what another spectacular month! September was full of wins for the Snap Fitness 24/7 Snap Fitness EMEA, and we’re super excited about what our community has been producing. Like I said last month, the contribution from every single person is incredible. This EMEA team is world-leading in supporting our franchise partners, and we have such an amazing group that truly cares about our franchisees and their development. Yes, it was another winning month with the Performance and Marketing teams driving member growth by 22% on a like-for-like (LFL) basis! What a result for everyone involved! As we continue building on our winning strategy, I’m thrilled to see our sales funnel producing more results. Huge shoutout to Kristen Horler, MS and the sales team for bringing two new franchisees into the Snap Fitness family! To further strengthen our support, we’ve expanded our team, welcoming a number of new stars to help support our network. These extraordinary hires will help develop our property, digital, and member experience as we gear up to launch some exciting new class offerings and studios across our network. And it doesn’t stop there—this was a record month for new franchise leads! As our stores reach new heights in sales and growth, franchisee interest is at an all-time high. Massive thanks to Tom Bowers for driving this forward. Finally, we’re gearing up for the franchise show this weekend. Ahead of World Heart Day this Sunday, we're shining a light on the story behind our partnership with the incredible OurJay Foundation ❤️ This inspiring charity was founded following the tragic loss of 18-year-old Jamie Rees, who passed away due to a cardiac arrest at a friend’s house in 2022. Access to a defibrillator could have helped save Jamie’s life but sadly, the nearby device was inaccessible and locked inside a local school, leaving his friends helpless. Founded by Jamie’s mum, Naomi, OurJay Foundation’s mission is to help ensure no-one is left in this position again. They are creating a legacy for Jamie by fundraising to install public access defibrillators across the country, as well as raising awareness of their importance. We came across the foundation when Jamie’s brother, Callum, joined our Hinckley gym and got talking to Club Manager, Chris Stevens. Fast forward two years and you now find life-saving defibrillators in our gyms across the UK & Ireland, all installed in partnership with the OurJay Foundation. Coming soon ... Snap Fitness Tullamore! 🇮🇪 Our sixth gym in the Republic of Ireland will open this November and it's going to be a beauty. Located in a prime spot in Tullamore Retail Park, the gym is revitalising a unit which has been vacant since June last year. It is owned by an existing, multi-site Snap Fitness franchisee who is opening his first location in the Irish market 💪 Reaction from the local community has been amazing, with people rushing to sign up the gym's mailing list to hear when memberships go on sale.
