A good-quality image will build trust with your customers. As a good photo is essential for most businesses, we asked Lukas for his top 5 tips for taking quality product images. 1. Use Proper Lighting: Natural light is your best friend! Shoot near windows or use softbox lights to eliminate harsh shadows and highlight your product's details. 2. Choose the Right Background: A clean, uncluttered background keeps the focus on your product. White or neutral backgrounds are classic choices that enhance the product's appearance. 3. Focus on Composition: Use the rule of thirds to create balanced and engaging photos. Experiment with different angles and perspectives to make your products stand out. 4. Show Details and Scale: Highlight important features and textures with close-up shots. Include items that give a sense of scale, like hands or everyday objects, to help customers understand the product's size. 5. Edit Thoughtfully: Post-processing can enhance your photos, but avoid over-editing. Adjust brightness, contrast, and colour balance to ensure the product looks as true to life as possible.
