🌿 Today marked an exciting milestone for #Project96 and #MyWackyForest. Our first visit to Monkerton Community Primary School of The Cornerstone Academy Trust in Exeter brought the magic of micro forests to life as we shared the first book in the My Wacky Forest series with the incredible children in key stage 1. A big and excited thank you to Frobishers | B Corp™ for sponsoring our pilot forest at Monkerton Primary, the first school in Exeter to join our journey as we branch out into new communities. 🌱 Their commitment to sustainability and community makes this journey possible, helping us plant seeds of change with the next generation in a new city. Adding to the magic, we had a surprise guest. Gabby from BCR Associates volunteered to bring Mushi to life in costume, captivating the children and making Mushi’s appearance truly unforgettable. Gabby was incredible, and we’re grateful for BCR's continued support. It's been brilliant to have Steve Warren-Brown back at SocieTree TQ (TreeQuarters) and hearing all about his Japanese adventures 🌿🌳🌱

🌱🌳🌿 What a fantastic morning we had at the YMCA Plymouth nursery today. A big thank you to Tom Lavis for inviting us and to all the amazing staff for making us feel so welcome. We started our visit by reading the first My Wacky Forest book to the children, with a little help from Mushi🍄which was very exciting. After story time, we ventured into the micro forest where we found real mushrooms hiding amongst the trees and spotted some woodlice too. The best part, all of the trees are taller than the children🌱🌳 🌿 It's so special to see how these tiny forests are growing alongside the children themselves, teaching them about nature and the environment in such an inspiring way.
