T-Rex House by Alex Ciubotaru and Wellington Franzao "With any sort of play, you invest emotions, and when you invest emotion, you invest yourself" Expanding on our previous post on Alex and Wellington's collaboration on their conceptual T-Rex House, these interior shots showcase the collaborative nature behind the project. "It's like a river flowing because we have a good working relationship. The doors feel quite open for collaboration" Perhaps because of this collaboration from concept, the theme of collaboration and community shines through in the design. Alex designed the T-Rex House to connect with other houses of the same design, allowing communities to be formed, wherever the structure is placed.

"Architecture is a puzzle" || Alex Ciubotaru The T-Rex House is an off-duty collaboration between our CG Artists Alex Ciubotaru and Wellington Franzao. Taking the concept of a small, portable home that can be picked up and moved anywhere, they created the T-Rex house. This is not their first collaboration, as they have previously worked on other self-initiated projects, but this is particularly special as it combines technical architectural planning from Alex and beautiful conceptual artwork from Wellington. "In architecture, you are judged for the 360 degrees of a project. You have to think holistically about every aspect." These images were created by Wellington, showcasing the portable home in both a forest and city setting. The ingenious design considers lifestyle needs, incorporating a semi-covered parking garage, whilst still inkeeping with the 25 square-foot profile of the building. #NOWHIRING: Technical CG Artist Full-Time, Liverpool + Remote, All levels £30,000 - £45,000 We are looking for CG Artists with interest in the technical aspects of the production pipeline such as poly-modelling, procedural modelling (RailClone, etc), scene optimisation and troubleshooting, PBR Materials, Scripting, VFX/Simulation (Tyflow, Phoenix, Houdini, etc). Knowledge of Unreal Engine and/or other real-time software is a plus. Scope of work – Lead projects form a technical perspective ensuring a smooth delivery, adhesion to best practices, robust scene setup stages, help with scene troubleshooting and optimisation, oversee in-house and cloud rendering, etc. – Create, improve, and document processes to help the wider team with common technical challenges and needs. – Assess software/hardware needs for the team and help with implementation and deployment. – Create and improve custom tools and scripts.
