Sortified CIC

The Sortified Board have made the incredibly difficult decision to close the organisation down. The support we provide to the community sector has always been difficult to fund, and this has been increasingly challenging since the COVID-19 pandemic and the cost of living crisis. Our current workstreams were all coming to an end, so we made the decision to close the books and wind the social enterprise down. Today marks our last day of trading, and we would like to take the opportunity to reflect over the last ten years, and celebrate the amazing things we did and what we achieved, and to thank all of the Sortified staff over the years, alongside all the people and organisations we have worked with. Whilst this is a sad day (particularly for Rich and Aaron who have lost the jobs they were so good at and that they loved), there is also a lot to celebrate. We’ve worked with over 200 organisations, helping to directly bring in over £6M of income and investment, working with over 5,000 people, and supporting the organisations we work with to improve the lives of over 25,000 people. So, as we deliver our last project today, we shut our doors with heavy hearts, and look to the future as everyone involved with Sortified moves forward and seeks to continue to make things better for people. #SocialEnterprise #CIC #NotForProfit #Charity #WeAreSortified #MakingThingsBetter
