Lincoln City Foundation inspires happier and healthier communities in and around Lincoln. Offering several different programmes to help improve the mental health of individuals across Lincolnshire, including their Let's Talk sessions, a monthly peer-to-peer support group for anyone over the age of 18, to a friendly and accepting Team Talk Football group and more. In summer 2024, the Foundation officially opened the Co-op Community Hub, a game-changer for the foundation. The development of the hub was funded to directly tackle the skills gap in the city by providing Lincoln City Foundation with a fit-for-purpose facility from which it can truly deliver on its promise to be a leader in education and skills delivery. The building was funded jointly by the Be Lincoln Town Deal, Football Foundation, Youth Investment Fund, Lincolnshire Co-op and the EFL, members of the public through the Stacey West Investment Bond and capital investment from the owners of the football club. #TownDeal #BeLincoln #MidlandsEngine Lincoln City FC / Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government / City of Lincoln Council

It is with deep sadness that City of Lincoln Council pays tribute to Councillor Sue Burke, who passed away on 2 January 2025. Cllr Burke was a strong advocate for the city and its residents, and who made it her goal to help the most isolated and vulnerable in our communities. https://lnkd.in/ezUTGQS2
