Across the UK and Ireland, we operate more than 30 brands across our units in approximately 200 locations. In our portfolio are some of the country’s best-known brands, including M&S Simply Food, Starbucks and Burger King, which we operate under franchise arrangements. You may also know us from our own brands, such as Millie’s Cookies, Upper Crust and Ritazza, as well as a number of bespoke concepts including Urban Express at London Bridge station and The Camden at London Stansted Airport.

    We pulled into Edinburgh Waverley today to open our new BrewDog bar. The first customers were greeted in true Scottish style by Louise Marshall. Inside, we have BrewDog’s iconic craft beers on tap as well as BrewDog Distilling Co Wonderland cocktails and spirits, plus a curated wine list so whatever your tipple of choice, we have a glass ready with your name on it. Kari Daniels, CEO of SSP UK & Ireland said: “One of our focus areas over the past 12 months has been to strengthen our offering with key partners, such as BrewDog. We’re delighted to be working with the brewery to bring this new venue to Edinburgh Waverley, our third bar together. With more than 80,000 passengers travelling through the station each day, we’re expecting it to prove popular with both commuters and leisure travellers in Edinburgh.” Waverley is our third BrewDog bar in the UK and first in Scotland so whether you’re a local or visiting the city, make this your next stop in Edinburgh!

    A new era has begun for us in Northern Ireland after opening our Starbucks kiosk at Belfast Grand Central Station, keeping travellers fuelled throughout the day.   We’re ideally located between the barrier and the train with our baristas serving your favourite drinks, including seasonal coffees, and food every day of the week.   The kiosk is the first of four outlets we are opening at this new station over the coming weeks.     Starting later this week, we will be serving Beyond Burgers from Beyond Meat at 13 of our airport and train station locations, including The Mill at Manchester Piccadilly, Brigg & Stow at Bristol Airport and The Camden Bar & Kitchen at Stansted Airport. Powered by plant-based goodness, these plant-based burgers are packed with 16g of protein per 100g and are vegan, kosher, and halal certified. Meredith Ford, SSP UK & Ireland’s Head of Sustainability, said: “We strive to offer as much choice as we can for customers across all of our outlets. We’re proud to be working in collaboration with Beyond Meat to do this while also supporting our target that 30% of our own brand main meal options are plant-based or vegetarian to drive positive change across the food travel sector.”  Be sure to try a Beyond Burger the next time you see one on the menu.

    Today, our Commercial team, led by our Commercial Director Andy Webb, welcomed more than 100 suppliers who we work with across our brands in the UK. Together, we keep more than 400 outlets stocked with thousands of food items, drinks and more to make sure that our customers have the products they need when on the move. Some of the key takeaways from the conference were: * SSP is continuing to invest in our portfolio to improve the customer experience. We have invested in more than 100 new and refreshed outlets over the past 12 months and have more to come before the end of this year * Customers are at the heart of our decision-making. Many of our products are updated seasonally as the needs of consumers change throughout the year * We open outlets in high footfall areas, providing incredibly high visibility for suppliers in iconic travel locations

    We are excited to announce that we’ll be opening four outlets at the new Belfast Grand Central Station over the coming weeks: ·      Northern Ireland’s first BrewDog bar ·      The first Marks and Spencer Food in a travel location in the city ·      Two Starbucks stores – one in the main concourse and one after the rail barrier, near platform one These new outlets will offer something for everyone, whether you’re looking for food and drink on the move or a new place to dine and have a drink after work. Kari Daniels, CEO of SSP UK & Ireland said: “These new outlets really put SSP on the map in Northern Ireland, showcasing the best that we offer alongside some of our biggest partners.
