About us
At St Rocco's Hospice are proud to be a local charity supported by the people and businesses of Warrington with over 70% of the £5m we need each year coming directly from supporters in our local community. Our care is offered free of charge and we are dedicated to helping each patient live their life to the full with respect, dignity and choice. We believe in making every day count for our patients, their carers, families and loved ones. As well as our 10 bed In-Patient Unit our Vitality Centre offers a range of services including complementary therapies, outpatients clinics, physio and occupational therapy and counselling, with the aim of supporting patients to stay as well as possible for as long as possible. We also care for the carers, offering relaxation sessions, complementary therapies and family support where appropriate. We also provide bereavement counselling. We are a 'Hospice Without Walls' . Our care reaches into the very heart of our communities through our services like Hospice At Home and our volunteer befriending service 'Rocco's On Your Doorstep'. www.stroccos.org.uk

Lauren’s Angels: Running with Love, in Memory of Lauren. Lauren’s Angels are coming together again this year to take part in the St. Rocco’s Colour Run to celebrate the life of their beautiful friend Lauren who passed away in February 2024. In her final weeks, the hospice cared for Lauren, ensuring she was comfortable, dignified and surrounded by love. This support was also given to her young daughter, family, and friends, offering kindness and compassion when it was needed most. Lauren’s Angels are running again this year, and although they will be covered in colour, they are doing it for Lauren who will be watching down and laughing! If you would like to sign up as a team for this year’s Colour Run, visit, https://lnkd.in/ewwadpcg. Proudly sponsored by, MKM Building Supplies, Excell Supply, Village Hotels, Lightcliffe Skoda, Gulliver's and McDonald's.
