SOLO A Free to view documentary with kind thanks to @montaneofficial. https://lnkd.in/efYUVqmR We spent about two years working with @jennytough on this film, based on her book "Solo", it's a project that was incredibly rewarding, challenging and immensely good fun. The film charters highs and lows, incredible feats of endurance and internal battles, but the two key take aways for me is hope and love. Love for adventure, love for ourselves, and love for others. As we were reading and researching a quote jumped out at me from an article featuring an interview between @alex_roddie & Jenny in @sidetrackedmag: "An adventure is worthy in itself, and does not need to be compared to anyone else’s abilities. Experiencing my journeys instead of measuring them has brought far more joy and value, and it’s how I like to move in the mountains now." In a world where everything feels like it is measured and you often find yourself feeling like you're being left behind, this filled me with immeasurable calm. Happy adventuring folks :)

Would we rather be anywhere else? Behind The Scenes of a product narrative shoot with @montane , Simon Roberts, and properly good Northumbrian conditions. Still up there as one of the most memorable shoots we've ever done. Working with incredibly hardworking and talented people, atmospheric conditions, lots of humour, and a good story. With the help of Steve Ashworth and Cold Brew Events #cheviotgoat #northumberland

Narrative campaign for @montaneofficial AW23. Titled ‘built for more’, highlighting the brand’s increasingly considered approach, its adaptability, advances in technology and the changing world of adventure. The range showcases how much they thrive on reaching further with developments and innovation to ultimately reach further in the mountains, ready for how adventures can evolve. Our challenge was to tell the story of Montane's inherent adaptability through a patchwork of activities and environments, linked together by a refined textural palate - a subtle visual metaphor for the brand's design approach. Shot in Iceland amidst challenging weather patterns, we were forever chasing optimal conditions. We think this urgency actually informed the finished product, and contrasts nicely with the drama of the landscape. #builtformore

A weekend of connection, camping, and creativity. Elements is a festival full of the good things in life with the wonderful, fabulous team at @sidetrackedmag The outdoor community is a rich and diverse place, and we love playing an active role in it to engage and interact with its members. Everyone has a story to tell and a lesson to learn. What is important is that we share these stories as much as we share the beautiful spaces we love. @voited #community #outdoors #creativity #story #together #event

The story of a product is as much about telling the narrative of a time and place as anything else. Doing so in a tactile manner allows for more intimate connections by leaving space for emotions to form. By not being prescriptive with these emotions leads to a more personal experience. In other words; focus on the doing and the feeling will come. @dexshell #outdoors #performance #story #product

Lost Connections. The aim of the game? To make as sustainable choices as possible on an adventure. Location - Knoydart, train, hike, paddle, hike, paddle, ferry, train. Slowing down adventure, being at the mercy of tides and all weathers. All crew travelled by public transport and it was our first Albert certified production. We know that we can't make the best choices all the time when it comes to work and travel, it can be expensive and significantly slower, but we aim to try.
