The Zero Trust Enterprise Browser

About us

The business landscape is fundamentally changing – the way and location of work has been transformed. Furthermore, with mass migration to the cloud, SaaS is vital. All this creates new risks - numerous points of access from multiple devices and multiple locations increase the attack surface. To address these attacks, your security solution should fundamentally change as well. That's where SURF enters. SURF provides users with freedom of work, letting them interact with applications, data, and each other securely. It addresses the critical business asset neglected by security experts for years: The browser. The browser is the access frontier for everything: users, data, corporate assets, applications, development activities - and cyber criminals, too. SURF Security has transformed the browser into your strongest security asset while providing complete end-user privacy – all with full compliance. Through this centralized platform, SURF insists on identity-first access to all SaaS and corporate assets to guarantee a secured and frictionless user experience. SURF enhances security, performance, and productivity for end-users and applications – faster than ever before.

The Browser: From Security Challenge to Security Asset in the Age of GenAI The #1 tool for enterprises accessing GenAI applications? The browser. In today’s distributed workforce, it’s the primary working tool—and unfortunately, a top target for hackers. With GenAI usage in the enterprise rapidly increasing, it’s critical to make the browser part of the security toolbox, transforming it from a potential risk into a powerful security asset. A recent survey by Wharton reveals that weekly GenAI usage among decision-makers has nearly doubled in a year, jumping from 37% in 2023 to 72% in 2024. With GenAI adoption on the rise, protecting sensitive data has never been more important. Why SURF SECURITY? Our enterprise browser provides robust Data Loss Prevention (DLP) capabilities, specifically designed to secure GenAI applications Protect confidential information from being shared with GenAI tools like #ChatGPT #Claude, #MS-copilot and #Gemini. Apple vision Pro is an exciting step into spatial computing. However, with this new technology comes new security challenges. As we move towards a more immersive digital world, strong security measures like iCloud Private Relay, DLP, browser controls will be crucial to protecting user data and end-user privacy.  But will organizations embrace the Vision Pro as a tool for virtual workspaces or will it remain a niche gadget? What is an Enterprise Browser? A CISO's Guide to Enhanced Security and Control. In today's digital landscape, where web applications and online services are central to business operations, ensuring robust cybersecurity is paramount. As a CISO or cybersecurity professional, you're entrusted with safeguarding sensitive corporate data and mitigating the risks associated with web browsing. This is where enterprise browsers come into play. What Sets Enterprise Browsers Apart? Unlike consumer-grade browsers like Chrome or Firefox, enterprise browsers are specifically designed to address the unique security and management needs of organizations. They provide a secure and controlled environment for employees to access web resources, while offering IT administrators granular control over user activity and browser configurations. SURF's Enterprise Browser and Extension: Surf Security understands that true security doesn't exist at the network perimeter. It begins where users and threats interact – the browser. Our innovative solutions reimagine cybersecurity by focusing on protecting the individual user and their digital journey. > SURF Security Enterprise Browser: A revolutionary browser built from the ground up with security at its core. It employs proactive threat detection, zero-trust access principles, and a familiar user interface. This combination empowers businesses to operate confidently and efficiently, especially for unmanaged devices where organisations cannot risk security gaps by using optionally removable extensions. > SURF Security Extension: Our powerful extension transforms existing mainstream browsers into secure endpoints. It seamlessly integrates intelligent security layers, protecting users without disrupting their preferred browsing experience. Ideal for managed devices where corporate profiles can enforce the extension’s use. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/egerz6Pr SURF SECURITY #EnterpriseBrowser #CISO #BrowserSASE #Cybersecurity

Has Broadcom killed VMware? Many businesses have become frustrated with VMware since Broadcom's acquisition, with some already making the switch to alternative solutions. The primary concern stems from skyrocketing costs, as companies look to avoid hefty renewal fees despite VMware's continued dominance in performance. So, what alternatives are available that can offer comparable performance without the hefty price tag? - Hyper-V? - KVM? - Proxmox? (I’ve only recently come across this one) - Nutanix? If you're facing the VMware dilemma, what alternatives are you considering? Kevin Bandel Simon Coter

I had the privilege of participating in one of the best technology summits today – the "Tech Leaders Summit" at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) premises in central #London. Thankful to Ian Ellis and Neil Shah for inviting me to be part of it. The summit featured a stellar lineup of corporations like Barclays, Microsoft, and NVIDIA, alongside a diverse group of startups including SURF SECURITY, Anecdotes and many of which are still in stealth mode. Both the AI and Security panels showcased top-notch panelists from the CISOs of LSEG, CrowdStrike and Illumio founder (Andrew Rubin), making it an insightful and engaging event. It was great to catch up with friends and peers: Amit Saar Julian Levy Ofer Shayo Yair Kuznitsov Eyal S. Or Latovitz Elad C.
