In partnership with Victoria and Albert Museum and Take More Photos, we commissioned six incredible London-based photographers to capture the essence of East London. Each photographer brought their unique perspective to showcase the culture, diversity, and stories that make East London so vibrant and iconic. EVERYDAY ICONS was an Open Studio Experience for Black Industry Creatives and Googlers, hosted in partnership with the Black Google Network for Black History Month. The event celebrated Black individuals who lead with resilience and creativity, offering an editorial experience with portraits, styling, tooth gems, and an MUA. Nabra Badr expertly directed and captured the essence of each feature, bringing the stories to life with her artistic vision. Jimi Alli managed the entire production with precision, overseeing 50+ creatives to ensure everything ran smoothly. A big thank you to Haida Hamidi for her incredible styling, which played a key role in shaping the visual narrative. Lastly, thanks to Zacharia Ahmed and the Google team for their unwavering support and belief in our vision. Building the Future; Powered by Legacy. This project showcases the determination, innovation, and perseverance of our community, and I hope it motivates others to follow their own paths.

One of Take More Photos' core values is to create opportunities for emerging creatives. For the past three years, we've hosted a competition offering up-and-coming talent the chance to shoot one of Europe's biggest festivals, Wireless Festival. With over 3,000 entries, 700K impressions, 3,000+ likes and comments, and 1,000+ saves, the response has been incredible. With stunning visuals by Take More Photos and a captivating soundscape powered by Epidemic Sound, we launched Culture Vanguards —  a celebration of creative genius. The immersive exhibition highlights four revolutionary UK creatives and how their work impacts and resonates with the communities around them. Want to check out the exhibition for yourself? On Saturday I had the pleasure of attending Girls* in the Middle (#GIM) by Take More Photos at London’s Google HQ! I definitely made the most of the opportunity, spending the day attending 3 extremely insightful sessions by the amazing: ✨ Jade Gordon - Essential Skills in Photography & Lighting ✨ Abi Mohamed - From Idea to Revenue: 101 on Creative Ventures ✨ Delenn Vaughan - From Concept to Creation: Essential Skills in Creative Direction The line-up was incredible, I learnt so much from women in such different career paths and as a person eager to try & test so many things, I found myself resonating with all 3 avenues. My favourite part of any creative networking event/opportunity is being in a space with so many talented individuals behind inspiring work!
