    🏆Is WFH still considered a perk to ‘office workers’ in 2024? Or has it become the norm? Before the pandemic, working from home one day a week or even a few days a month was a highly desired perk that few companies offered. It felt almost like a mini holiday, catching up on overdue admin and removing those usual office distractions. More often than not when we’re speaking to our candidates, they’re already in a hybrid setup and expect at least two days of WFH per week for flexibility.     ⚠️ Are you feeling disengaged in your job? Well it’s likely you’re not the only one.   According to Gallup's latest Global Workplace report, UK worker engagement lags behind, standing at a mere 8%!   Compared to 10% in Europe, 33% in North America and 21% globally.   Leadership is under the spotlight. With unfair treatment, unmanageable workloads and unclear communication top the list of disengagement triggers. Surprisingly, a whopping 70% of team engagement hinges on managerial behaviour alone.   But there's hope…..🌤️   Despite the majority feeling disconnected, there's an undercurrent of anticipation for inspiration and purpose in work.   Employee engagement isn't just about the grind; it's about fulfilling fundamental human needs—clear expectations, team support and meaningful work…….
