The #hydrogen supply chain and its challenges - from import by pipeline and ship to users and consumers   Representatives of companies from Norway, Denmark, Scotland, the Netherlands and Germany discussed this key issue. There was a consensus that hydrogen has the potential to become a key component of a #sustainableenergy supply. 📢 Influencers and content creators listen up! The European Commission recently launched the "Influencer Legal Hub".    The Influencer Legal Hub (https://lnkd.in/eEhryQ9P) is a platform with video trainings, guidelines and checklists about legal obligations within the EU for influencers, content creators and businesses. This Hub seeks to create a more regulated and trustworthy digital economy, where influencers play an increasingly significant role towards consumers.   Within the “LEGAL BRIEF #3: WHEN IS AN INFLUENCER A ‘TRADER’?” (https://lnkd.in/e8rke-Kb) published in the Influencer Legal Hub, the EC has also clarified the meaning of so-called “traders” and, at the same time, broadened the meaning of a “trader” as follows:   1. The term “trader” shall be used in very similar (if not identical) ways across the different regulations. Said this, the understanding of “trader” as set out in the above-mentioned legal brief also applies to “trader” according to the Digital Services Act.   2. A “trader” is a business that (i) makes revenue through their business (e.g. creating content), (ii) engages in commercial practices towards consumers (advertising is already sufficient), and (iii) is acting in connection to its trade, business, craft or profession.   The attentive reader might have quickly realized how general and therefore encompassing the understanding of “trader” by the EC is. "This broad understanding will also have an impact on DSA-related “traders” at online marketplaces", says our expert Patrizia Neifert. “More businesses will be required to provide online marketplaces with requested information (name, address, telephone number, email address, a copy of the trader’s identification document, payment account details, trade register and registration number or equivalent means of identification and a self-certification by the trader committing to only offer products or services that comply with the applicable rules of EU law).” #DSA #Influencer #ContentCreator
