Who knew recycling could be so interesting? ♻️ A great turn out for the design&assembly event hosted at #TempleStudios this week, the second in their design & assembly discussions, bringing industrial designers together to make things better. We were treated to inspirational talks from industry experts Philippa Roberts Co-founder and CEO of Binit Group Ltd and Gwen Frost Director of Resource Futures, shining a light on the current state of recycling systems and how new legislation could affect the way designers produce. A wonderful evening providing insight into the intricacies of waste management and the challenges the infrastructure continues to face and continues to overcome. We can’t wait for the next one! Keep your eyes peeled for future TCN events; informative, inspiring and accessible talks for the community and members of The Curious Network!

The Curious Network is delighted to be sponsoring Heal Live: London a rewilding and nature event at Conway Hall on the evening of 23rd October. These events are for anyone who considers themselves a nature lover, rewilder, climate change and biodiversity campaigner or are just looking to be inspired to make a positive change for nature, for the environment and for themselves. Join Heal Rewilding for an engaging, warm and informative evening full of stories of hope and action with expert speakers including Elliot Newton, co-founder of Citizen Zoo and Jasmine Isa Qureshi, intersectional writer, activist and storyteller. Amongst other themes, they will be discussing access to nature - exploring local action to tackle disparity in access to rich and diverse green spaces and how we can ensure we all benefit whilst balancing wildlife's need for sanctuary. You will also hear from Heal Rewilding, on the highs and lows of establishing their first site in Somerset, where they will share the changes they have witnessed, demonstrating what rewilding can give back to wildlife and to people and their communities in a relatively short space of time.
