    Personality assessments can be 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞... but here is something you can do about it. Some providers 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭, meaning that a single candidate could cost your organisation hundreds of pounds or dollars. While these assessments are often reserved for senior managers, their usage in any setting can quickly add up. In contrast, aptitude tests such as verbal, numerical, or inductive reasoning tests tend to be more affordable but are often used in combination, which still increases costs. The reality is that the more assessments you use, the 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞... but the more it affects your bottom line. But there is an alternative.     As reported by The Financial Times, up to 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐟 𝐨𝐟 𝐣𝐨𝐛 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 are now using generative AI tools like ChatGPT to write CVs, cover letters, and even complete recruitment tests. This surge in AI-assisted applications is flooding employers with high volumes of often lower-quality submissions, raising concerns across industries. https://lnkd.in/gzKwHQ-N But we've been saying this for months. In this video, I ask Test Partnerhip's chief psychologist Ben Schwencke about this issue. The reality is, AI is changing the recruitment landscape—whether we like it or not. It's over. And while some employers are hopeful that final interviews will filter out those who rely too heavily on AI, there's a more effective approach: 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠.
