    TEXO Recruitment is seeking a skilled Site Maintenance Engineer to support the operational performance of our external client based in Aberdeen. The role requires a proactive approach to planned and preventative maintenance, effective problem-solving techniques, and the implementation of corrective actions to ensure smooth site operations. Key Responsibilities: - Execute all planned and preventative mechanical maintenance tasks onsite. - Overhaul and replace key parts, maintaining stock levels of critical components in collaboration with the Procurement Coordinator. - Respond to equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults to root cause, carry out mechanical repairs, and liaise with external specialists when required. - Conduct conditional assessments of access/egress equipment and fixings, implementing corrective measures as necessary. - Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in all personal work areas. - Adhere to and promote sound Health and Safety practices at all times. Qualifications & Experience: - Previous experience in a plant or industrial maintenance environment. - Time-served Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with at least five years of post-apprenticeship experience. - Understanding of mechanical/electrical interface principles. - IPAF and Working at Height certification (preferred, but training will be provided). - Valid and clean UK Driving Licence.
