There's a special joy in helping ambitious students. 🙏🏽 We've got upcoming collabs with other university societies including this Wednesday at Imperial ASoc organised by Sudiksha Rao. Get in touch if you want us to bring our community to our society! It's the first time we've done a panel which wasn't hosted by me because of personal reasons. I want to say a massive, massive thanks to Anisah for stepping up last minute to take my place. Had no doubt she'd deliver an amazing session for the students. Y Combinator Success Stories Evening: An immense thank you to everybody who gave up their time to give us such a valuable business and start-up insight. As a driven co-founder of a new MedTech focused startup Orbion, it was refreshing to feel a sense of healthy community in an industry that can often feel competitive and ambiguous. Studying my Master's in MedTech Entrepreneurship and Innovation whilst at medical school, has provided me the time and network to invest in my interests that pair clinical medicine with innovations in a rapidly evolving sphere like MedTech. This time last year, I joined the King's Entrepreneurs Society as an Event Associate (much thanks to Dev D. and Soumil Goteti for believing in me). After organizing 35+ events, sending close to 400 emails, crafting successful pitch decks, hopping on numerous partnership calls, networking with inspiring entrepreneurs and making some incredible friends - I can confidently say this was the best decision I took at uni. Going forward as the Head of Events for Strategy and Partnerships this year, I am grateful to Sally Lo and Ammiel Wan for the opportunities, and super excited for leaving an impact on London’s entrepreneurial community, alongside Simran Garg! I would also like to thank Ahana Banerjee and Mariam Ahmed for their valuable time yesterday. As we hosted them for a panel, I was reminded of why this means so much to me (see screenshot - a testament to the incredible speakers that they are!). Kudos to our talented team for pulling this off (shoutout to Zalia Ali)!
