Another step towards sustainability. Last Tuesday, I completed the Beginners Bike Maintenance Course at The Bike Station, which equipped me with skills to maintain and repair bicycles. Levelling up our game at Cycle Law Scotland, peddling towards eco-friendly transportation. Big shoutout to Olivia for making the training look so easy and insightful.

Ever wondered how impactful our work is? In 2023 we… ♻️ recycled around 4.02 tonnes of old bicycle tyres - saving them from landfill. 🚴♀️championed accessible active travel - 240 participants were referred to our Shifting Gears prorgramme from 12 different partner organisations and charities. 🚲we distributed 72 free bikes with accompanying lock, lights and helmets in the 22/23 financial year. and that’s just the beginning… we also continued to refurbish and recycle bicycles contributing to a circular economy and more sustainable planet! 🌍 You can read more about our impact and work on our website: https://lnkd.in/epDaKj9D

So honoured to have been trusted by The Bike Station to scribble and paint all over their walls this week. If you are in Edinburgh or Perth and don’t know about them already, check them out! They help create more accessible cycling opportunities, and help in working towards a more sustainable and circular economy with bike repair and recycling. Pop along to the Edinburgh, Gorgie branch to check it out in person ☺️
