Making a difference to children & adults with severe learning disabilities whose behaviour challenges and their families
About us
The Challenging Behaviour Foundation is the charity for people with severe learning disabilities who display behaviour that challenges. We make a difference to the lives of children and adults across the UK. Our vision is for all people with severe learning disabilities who display behaviours that challenge to have the same life opportunities as everyone else and, with the right support, to live full and active lives in their community. We support this through: • Providing information and support to family carers and professionals • Promoting best practice and supporting research • Supporting the voice of families on a local and national level

We know family carers provide a lot of unpaid care and support for their relatives and have few opportunities to access training for themselves and their staff. The upcoming CBF trauma awareness workshop on 22nd October is fully funded and available to family carers who manage a Direct Payment Package. Plus, you can join with your PAs, to ensure everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet and working together to support your relative in the way that works for them. Express your interest by filling this form and we will reach out to you with booking details! Fill this form now: https://lnkd.in/efVTPSK2 If you have any questions, you can contact us at workshops@thecbf.org.uk or call 01634 838739
