Based in Wigan, in the heart of north-west England, The Edge accommodates events from 1 to 1,000 people, small enough to support you and large enough to support our region. The Edge is fully flexible and can be used for any event from small meetings to concerts or trade exhibitions. The Edge provides a dedicated contact to plan and run your event, catering options, free wifi and parking for up to 250 cars. With its own coffee house supplying speciality coffee, tea & light meals, The Edge is the ideal venue for your event.

Tomkins: The Last Chance is a documentary that follows the Sam in his last season as a professional player. Sam reflects on his controversial career as he talks about the ups and downs of rugby – and life! Sam wears a microphone during games to give audiences a unique insight into the Greatest Game.     Rugby League Cares. The Lions Reunion Luncheon has taken place every year since 1945 and is taking place at The Edge Wigan today when players and staff who have been involved in southern hemisphere tours and tournaments with Great Britain, England and, in the 1975 World Cup, Wales, will come together to celebrate their unique bond. Our main auditorium can seat up to 450 people and is now sold out the 2024 reunion, which will see the Association celebrate two memorable milestones: the 50th anniversary of the 1974 Lions Tour and the 40th Anniversary of the 1984 Tour. This is the 2nd year Rugby League Cares have have chosen to hold their events here at The Edge Wigan, and we want to thank them for this! #theedgewigan #wigan #rugbyleaguecares #

    Seeing Things’ is a contemporary art exhibition, workshops & talks, within a statement space at The Edge, Wigan! Open to all, free of charge. Supported by The Edge and using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England, this artist led exhibition commissions nine artists from across Wigan and the North West to create new site responsive works resulting in a group exhibition ‘Seeing Things’. Follow Seeing Things on instagram! @seeing_things_ The exhibition will be open from the 20th - 29th of February, 2024 during Wigan’s half term holidays.10am to 4pm Monday to Saturday. During this time a programme of workshops for adults and children!, artist talks, and tours will take place. The exhibition will open evenings in line with some of these events.
