We are proud to be part of a coalition of over 200 culture and heritage organisations celebrating the impact of culture across the UK, spearheaded by the Cultural Philanthropy Foundation. We're taking part in the first #CultureMakes collective action today, celebrating the Creative Impact of our work which focuses on craft, community and empowerment. In particular, we’re highlighting our award-winning tables and chairs, hand-woven window blind commission, tile commission and our lovely garden designed by Sarah Price. All of our work is delivered collaboratively with the community.

Wonderful news!! Last night, The Exchange project won the 2024 RIBA South East Conservation Award! 🏆 After years of hard work, we are absolutely thrilled to be recognised for the approach we took with #Erith's beautiful Grade II listed building. Lots of thanks to everyone that have helped guide the plans, with a big shout out to Robin Lee Architecture, Sarah Price Landscapes, our partners Bexley Council, and everyone in the community that contributed to those plans through sharing your ideas and hopes. A massive thanks also to all our funders also including the Greater London Authority, The National Lottery Heritage Fund, Power to Change, Orbit Group, Architectural Heritage Fund, Cooperatives UK and very importantly our Community Shareholders. What a blast this past weekend was! We want to extend a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who came along to make Here Comes The Sun 2024 the busiest festival we've had to date. And a big thank you to our food and drink partners who made it the cool weekend that it was: Power Crust Pizza Camouflage Cafe Bearded Foodie and of course, Bexley Brewery The musicians who were here all serenaded us - there was so much talent on one stage over the three days. We can't tag all of you - but THANK YOU for being here and bringing so much energy. And of course - thank you to all of the volunteers who helped us with all the background tasks. It means so much! Our events programme at The Exchange is community run - and we would love to hear from you about any events that you might like to put on. Music / art classes / dance workshops / literally anything else in between.
