From Glastonbury to Istanbul, he is constantly creating new sounds, mixing up the formula for good vibe pie.   🚀 Em Perrin: from the realms of downtempo, through to the most impactful peaks of melodic techno, Em Perrin will take you on a diverse journey, dancing between tribal, afro, and organic house. 🚀 DeeZee: An old fool from the old school, DeeZee started as a 90s Tokyo resident DJ playing at iconic clubs such as Breakfast Club, Universe and Yellow. Clubs like Fabric, Ministry of Sound, SubClub are more than venues - they’re cultural landmarks that foster creativity and community, and exist as the heartbeat of towns and cities across the UK. But the UK could see the end of the clubbing era, Night Time Industries Association CEO Michael Kill has warned, with around 10 venues closing a month over the last four years. The NTIA has launched #TheLastNightOut campaign to fight back, calling for government intervention to save our clubbing scene. Preparing for the potential arrival of a tropical storm in Nashville isn’t easy – but it can be an opportunity to learn and grow relationships...   Earlier in September, The Fair flew out to Nashville, A.K.A ‘Music City’, to deliver the second iteration of Recfest USA. The inaugural event in 2023 was a huge success, and this year it doubled in size - with more stages, speakers, sponsors and attendees for those in the Talent Acquisition sector to come and enjoy.   With bad weather looming (Hurricane Francine swept through Southeastern USA, sadly causing destruction in Louisiana and Mississippi), we put our heads together to prepare for the worst. We sourced over 2,000 m2 of extra tents just 36 hours before doors opened, ensuring all 65+ sponsors would be covered, and footfall around their stands wouldn’t be impacted by the bad weather. After rapidly redrawing site plans, power specs and distribution plans, suppliers and contractors alike adapted to the sudden change in layout and requirements.   Thankfully Nashville ended up avoiding the eye of the storm, but heavy rainfall and high winds still headed our way. Despite this, the 2-day event continued with great success: stages and sponsors remaining busy throughout. This was all thanks to team work - from our team, The Recruitment Events Co. and all suppliers on site. Together, we adapted, and RecFest USA thrived through wind, rain, and resilience. One of the key take aways for the team was that - in our industry - needs must. Every event is different, with objectives and priorities changing.
